Program Content
It is a start up program for dentists having little or no exposure to implants. It helps students/practitioners to select different implant systems and use them with ease. The objective is to have a comprehensive understanding of the biomechanics of implants and biology of implant-based oral rehabilitation. Lectures, hands on and personal training on patients are a part of the program. Implants will be placed by students on patients under the guidance of experts. The entire implant treatment sequence including the prosthetic phase will be done by the participants. The participants will obtain the skills required for placing implants confidently. Continued assistance after the program will also be provided when practitioners start treating dental implant patients in their clinic.
