Prosthodontics Residency Program

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to understand esthetic principles in fixed prosthodontics, including shade and soft tissue relationships; select appropriate techniques for managing discolored teeth; prescribe suitable bridges; perform crown and bridge preparations; assess and plan occlusion; diagnose and manage tooth surface loss; and identify indications for crown lengthening.

Students will be trained in diagnosis, treatment planning, and post-insertion care, including crown lengthening indications, tooth preparation, impression techniques, and interocclusal records, along with abutment and pontic selection.
